Substance use among adolescents is complex and influenced by family, community, mental health, and availability. Recent national surveys show declines in many forms of teen substance use over the last few years, but local prevention, treatment access, and targeted education remain essential — especially in rural states like Wyoming.

Early prevention through education, both through teen education and parent education are critical in the fight against teen drug usage. Understanding the methods and signs of use, available resources, and prevention methods are the key to creating a safe and healthy environment. We aim to provide statistics, resource information, and prevention information in order to do our part.
